THE PHILIPPINE EAGLE
Due to excessive logging of the Philippine rainforest, the national bird of the Philippines, the Philippine Eagle, may soon become extinct with only 700 breeding pairs left in the world. It is one of the largest raptors ( wingspans up to 7 ft and eats monkeys!) in the world and arguably the most beautiful flying predator in our skies today. link
