Man Made DNA Successful

Dr. Craig Venter, or should I say, Dr. Frankenstein has successfully created the first man-made DNA strand. This puts him one step closer to making artificial lifeforms here on Earth.

However they implement this technology I hope it doesn't backfire and creates some ungodly creature that terrorizes our cities or a race of artificial human beings that take over our planet. People will say scientists are trying to play God, but the opposite camp would argue our new understanding of organic molecular architecture can open up doors to new fields of medicine...don't forget to mention Godzilla.
