Diddy and Cassie have reportedly become engaged. After months of rumors that the two were an item, Star Magazine is now saying that Diddy proposed, but wants to keep it quiet.
Hip Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly asked Cassie to be his wife. Never having confirmed their relationship, it seems we will have a long wait if it is true. Of course the more reputable People magazine reports that Diddy’s rep denies the engagement.
“Contrary to tabloid reports, there is no engagement. This was a complete fabrication.”
Star magazine reports that Diddy proposed to Cassie, but wanted family to find out first.
A source told Star:
“He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn’t want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited. P. Diddy said they hadn’t set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first.”
Cassie and Diddy met when he signed her to his Badboy record label in 2006. He is 17 years her senior.
